Duel.com Account Security

Any TOTP-compatible app works: Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, Bitwarden, or Microsoft Authenticator. Authy, password managers and Google Authenticator (with Google Account sync turned on) keep a cloud backup, which helps if you lose your phone — but treat that backup as sensitive. Avoid SMS-based 2FA where a stronger option exists.

Duel.com is a licensed offshore operator (Anjouan licence, run by Immortal Snail LLC) with optional 2FA, but it holds your balance in custody, crypto withdrawals cannot be reversed, and there is no independent dispute body or chargeback. Account safety therefore depends largely on you: 2FA, a unique password, and checking the domain is duel.com every time.

Partially. If you enter your password and a fresh 2FA code on a fake site, the attacker can use both immediately on the real site before the code expires. 2FA stops remote password theft but does not replace verifying the domain before you log in.

At least twenty characters, randomly generated. Length matters more than complexity rules like mandatory symbols. A 24-character random string from a password manager is stronger than an 8-character password with uppercase, numbers, and symbols.

Duel does not publish its 2FA reset procedure. As on most platforms, expect support (24/7 live chat or support@duel.com) to require proof that you own the account first — account details, and possibly an identity check — before resetting anything. This is intentional: it stops attackers talking support into disabling your 2FA. Expect hours to days, not minutes.

Your wallet. A gambling account balance is convenient for play but is a custodial exposure — the platform controls the keys. Keep only what you intend to play with on the platform; store the rest in a wallet you control.
