Deposit Troubleshooting Checklist
A single decision tree for any deposit problem on Duel.com: not sent, pending, confirmed but missing, wrong network, below minimum, or missing memo.

Quick answer
One page, one decision tree. Start at the top and stop when you reach an answer.
Before anything else
- Copy the transaction hash (TXID) from your sending wallet
- Note the coin, the exact network, and the amount
- Note the destination address you sent to
- Open a block explorer for the network you actually used
Everything below depends on having these four things.
Question 1: Did the transaction broadcast?
Look for the outgoing transaction in your wallet's history and paste the hash into the explorer.
| Result | Diagnosis | Go to |
|---|---|---|
| No outgoing transaction in your wallet | Nothing was sent — funds are still yours | Retry the deposit |
| Explorer cannot find the hash | Not broadcast, or you are on the wrong chain's explorer | Check the chain, then question 3 |
| Transaction shown as failed | It reverted; funds remain minus the fee | Retry, check gas settings |
| Transaction found and pending | Continue | Question 2 |
| Transaction found and confirmed | Continue | Question 3 |
Question 2: Is it confirmed?
Compare the explorer's confirmation count against the requirement shown on the deposit screen.
- Below the required count → wait. This is the normal state and cannot be accelerated.
- Sitting unconfirmed in the mempool → your fee is low relative to demand. Wait, or fee-bump if your wallet allows.
- Above the required count → the blockchain side is done. Continue to question 3.
Detail: deposit pending and confirmation times.
Question 3: Right address, right network?
Read the destination address and chain directly off the explorer and compare with the deposit screen.
| Finding | What it means | Go to |
|---|---|---|
| Address and network both match | Continue | Question 4 |
| Network differs | Wrong-network send | Wrong network deposit |
| Address differs | Wrong paste, malware, or phishing | Phishing and fake sites |
| Memo required but absent | Cannot be attributed automatically | Contact support immediately |
| Token contract differs from expected | Bridged or lookalike token | Contact support with the contract address |
Question 4: Did the received amount clear the minimum?
Compare the amount the explorer shows as received — not the amount you typed — against the minimum for that coin and network.
Below the minimum means no automatic credit, and manual recovery is needed. See deposit limits and minimums.
All four passed and it still has not credited
Wait up to an hour after the required confirmations are reached. Then escalate with a single, complete message.
- Transaction hash
- Block explorer link
- Coin and exact network
- Amount sent and amount received
- Destination address, copied from the explorer
- Sending address
- Memo or destination tag, if any
- Date and time with timezone
Quick reference
| Feature | Likely cause | Recoverable? |
|---|---|---|
| Pending for 20 minutes on Bitcoin | Normal confirmation time | N/A — just wait |
| Pending for 6 hours on Bitcoin | Fee too low for current demand | Yes — it will confirm eventually |
| Confirmed, not credited, correct details | Platform processing queue | Yes — contact support |
| Confirmed, wrong network | Chain mismatch | Sometimes, manually |
| Confirmed, below minimum | Fee pushed it under | Usually, manually |
| Confirmed, no memo on a memo chain | Cannot be attributed | Often, act quickly |
| Confirmed, unfamiliar destination address | Phishing or malware | No |
Preventing repeat problems
- Standardise on one coin and network for routine deposits
- Test small on any new route
- Copy the address fresh from the deposit screen every time
- Read the network label before pasting, not after
- Send comfortably above the minimum, not marginally above
- Keep the transaction hash until the balance updates
- Reach the site only from your own bookmark
Summary
Four questions in order: did it send, is it confirmed, did it reach the right address on the right chain, and did enough arrive. Waiting is the correct action for anything still confirming. Escalate only once the chain side is complete, and send every detail in the first message.
