Recovery depends entirely on whether anyone controls the private key for the destination address on the chain you used. Duel.com's deposit addresses are generated from keys the platform holds. Recovery realities, scenario by scenario
Scenario 1: EVM chain to a different EVM chain
Example: the cashier showed a USDT address on Ethereum; you sent USDT on BNB Chain or Polygon to that same address.
Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base and Optimism share an address format, and a key controlling an address on one typically controls the same address on all of them. This is the hopeful case. The funds are sitting at a Duel.com-controlled address on a chain the platform was not watching. Recovery requires an engineer to access that address on the other chain, pay gas there, and move the funds — manual work, but technically feasible.
Realistic expectation: possible, not promised. Duel.com may or may not offer recovery for a chain it does not otherwise support, and it is under no obligation to. If the chain you used is one the cashier does support for other coins, the odds are better.
Scenario 2: Different address formats
Example: you meant to send USDT on Tron and instead sent on Ethereum, or vice versa.
Tron addresses start with "T"; Ethereum addresses start with "0x". A wallet will refuse to send an Ethereum transaction to a T-address, so in practice this scenario usually means one of two things happened: the send failed (funds are still yours), or you pasted a different address than you thought. Scenario 3: Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Solana, XRP mismatches
These chains each have their own address formats. Cross-sends between them almost always fail at the wallet before broadcast. Where a send did go through — for example, Litecoin to a legacy-format address that happens to be valid on both chains — the funds are at an address whose key may or may not exist on the receiving chain. Treat this as unrecoverable unless Duel.com says otherwise.
Scenario 4: Right chain, wrong token contract
Example: you sent a bridged or wrapped USDC rather than the canonical issuance on the same chain.
The funds are at the right address on the right chain, but as a token the platform does not monitor. Duel.com controls the key, so recovery is technically possible; whether it is offered depends on the platform's willingness to handle a non-listed token. Can a wrong-network deposit to Duel.com be recovered?
Sometimes. If Duel.com controls the private key for the same address on the chain you sent to — common between EVM-compatible chains such as Ethereum, BNB Chain and Polygon — manual recovery may be possible. Almost certainly not in that direction, because Tron and Ethereum use different address formats — an Ethereum transaction to a Tron-format address would not broadcast. If it did send, the destination was a different address entirely. Check the explorer for the chain you used and contact support with the hash regardless.
